I think it would for most people! Alice and Bob are placeholder names standardly in cryptology. See this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_and_Bob .
I have been editing papers about Alice and Bob for many years, so it was great to see the concept rendered! Meaningless to anyone else though. :)
