Terms End Work Start

I wish that now term had ended my work would now stop. Y'know, to stop, relax and take note of the world. I'm dreaming of sleep and of holidays in duvetland. They are far distant dreams. April, I will be sleeping in April. It is decided. Or was that May?

Either way my workload for next term involves:

a) Studying full time at the University for my DPhil (including attending a qualitative methods masters course)

b) Working .5 for the other University in the other county

c) Studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Narrative Analysis in London

d) Teaching a Masters level course at the University e) Planning, Conducting and analysing my main pilot studies for my DPhil

f) Some vague attempt to retain a social life...

Gaaah. I will sleep in May. For now, I must prepare...

Double the fun

In an interesting twist I appear to have been sent everything I could possibly want for a pirate pinata party (again). For free (minus the import charges). This is vaguely baffling. What do I do with another pinata pirate ship? And pirate yo-yos? And plastic skull rings? And fake gold coins? Huh? Huh. At least I know where the skull and crossbones sweets are going.
